How do you do rope borders? I have a small claygun but the pieces are too small and very hard to connect. Is there a better / easier way to do this?

Does your clay gun have a die that looks like three attached circles (sort of like a club on a deck of playing cards, but without the "tail")? I use that, then twist it. Ot, if I need a multi color rope, or a thicker rope than my gun can do, I just roll the snakes by hand (actually, I use a fondant smoother to roll them to avoid dents), and twist them together that way.

As pink said, just roll them by hand and twist together. You can make them as long, thin, thick as you want/need. It's quite easy to do and if it's too thick, just roll it out a bit more....
