Anyone has any ideas, or maybe photos of such cake, I have no idea how to even start!!! The mom wants a very special cake for her two-year old son. I have no problem with the animals, but need some help with the car.

i have done a dodge race car shaped cake before.
i found basic instructions on how to make a car shaped cake. than once you have the body of a regular car you can trim down the sides to make it look more like a VW. http://members.nuvox.net/~zt.proicer/cakepict/cars.htm

If you look under my photos I did a green VW bug. I put directions there. When I did it I was pretty new at this and never really carved a cake yet, so I'm sure you can do it!
