Any one know how many pounds (or grams) of fondant it will take to cover a 10" square? I have to color it black and I hate to waste a lot by coloring too much. I make my own, and coloring too much can add up to a lot of lost time.

Hi,
I'd agree with Bonjovibabe. I have done it with a kilo but it doesn't give you much to play with and is a little thin for my liking.

Awesome!! I knew you Brits would know!!! Y'all are such fondant pros!

Is there a chart I can download somewhere that tells how much to use for different cake sizes?
