How long does it take for fondant to dry completely?

Hi there, welcome to CC and your first post. What are you going to do with the fondant? Are you going to cover a cake with it? or are you going to make figures and flowers? If you are going to make figures and flowers, you have to make them with gumpaste, as it dries hard.

Fondant doesn't dry hard as gumpaste. So if you are going to cover the cake with it, its fine.

You can always add gum-tex to fondant to help it dry faster. You add 1 teaspoon to 12 oz of fondant.
