Imbc - Is It Sturdy Enough To Put On Fondant Decorations?

i'm icing a cake in IMBC and would like to run a wide fondant band around the cake. will the IMBC support that, and if so, what's the best thing to "attach" the fondant with?

Just stick it on baby! Since IMBC does not crust, the fondant will stick to it like glue.

I love MBC, but it's so easy to damage it! I would put it in the fridge to firm up a little before adding the band, and then just stick it on. I put the fondant strawberries on the sides of my Strawberry Shortcake cake that way and they stuck just fine.
