I'm fairly new to cake decorating and a friend asked me to do a teddy bear cake for her son's birthday. I pretty much understand how to decorate it. My question is...do we put a filling in the cake? I'm thinking no, but I'm not sure.

If you are talking about the 3D teddy bear, I would not put a filling...

It's not the 3d bear that sits up. It's just a teddy bear shaped cake...kind of like the winnie the pooh one.

I wouldn't fill a character pan cake, personally.
