From what I know about the grocery stores around me is that you only need to take orders, pipe borders, airbrush, make flowers, place plastic toys on cakes, and write on them. That's about it. You work seems very good, and it's my guess that you'd get bored really fast in a grocery store. You may want to do it just to supplement your own cake business for extra money. I don't know of a single grocery store around me that has ever heard the word fondant.
