i mixed a little yellow and a tiny dab of brown color paste until it looked right.
then, since i dont have an airbrush, i used a very small pump spray bottle, mixed some brown food color with a little water, and lightly misted the top of the "bun" with the brown color. then i let it dry thoroughly before i piped tiny beige "sesame seeds" out of buttercream on the very top.
for seasame seeds on the bun use ivory fondant and cut out little seeds with a rose tip (wilton 104) ![]()
i would def say to start out with the yellow and add a little brown at the same time. oh the hamburger cake that i recently did i added little fondant olived on a toothpick it also helped stabilise the layers of everything.
this might help you out alil bit... it's a youtube video showing a hotdog cake from start to finish
