I was wondering...I know some people use normal Watercolour paint to paint their gumpaste / fondant figures/flowers - as it is non-toxic. So, can I use normal filt pens to for instance outline the eys or put freckles on a face?? It is also non-toxic...or not??

I think that if it is something that will not be eaten (and you are there to make sure of that) then it's fine but, if you can't guarantee it won't be eaten use something food safe. I know several brands of markers say non-toxic but the smell of the ink is offensive. There are food safe markers.
