Can You Eat Gumpaste?????

I've seen a lot of beautiful work done here in both fondant and gumpaste. I know you can eat fondant, but gumpaste? I've never worked with either, but I'd like to try my hand at it. Thanks for any information.

yep its edible, dont taste nice, but its not going to kill ya icon_smile.gif

Yep, I had some once on a cake somewhere...eww..beautiful, but eww.

I love working with gumpaste but like other's said, it's edible but it's just hard sugar.
