Ok here are my finished and painted gumpaste figures, I am pretty pleased being that this was my 1st attempt:
What do you think?

. . . I love your bunny's big "thumper" feet . . . made me smile . . . ![]()
Mommy of 3 DD,
You did a wonderful job. These are real cute. Did you use all white gum paste and then paint them? What/How did you paint them? You know..method? Do/did they dry enough for you to handle them?
Sorry so many questions. I just want to know if I am doing stuff wrong.
Great Job.

They're so great! You did a wonderful job! I'm about to attempt people, for the first time. I borrowed some molds, though, to ease my way into it. I think the giraffe is my favorite!![]()
Thank you! I did make them from white gumpaste. I painted using Americolor gels and the wilton white gel color, mixed to the proper shade. These were still wet when I took the pic. After they dried 12 hours they were duller and only slightly tacky to the touch... Hopefully they will be fully dry by Saturday when I have to deliver the cake...
Thanks again for the nice comments! These buggars took me about 6 hours total, plus 4 days drying time... Next time I will try tinting the gumpaste.
Thanks guys... I got the idea for the bunny from another CCr (I can't remeber which one)...
