Anyone use royal icing on your dummies if so does it last along time? Thinking about using it on a competition cake.

depending on your design it can work fine.

Yes, it will work fine. I entered a wedding cake in a competition at our county fair. Did the whole thing in royal icing including the decorations and flowers. I still had it weeks after the fair was over!

After a few months white royal icing becomes yellowish, but for about 2 months the color does not change( I made a white cake dummy 2 months before the wedding date)
