Hi,

I"m the middle of making my first wedding cake, I'm currently baking the 14" cake, the cake is due on Friday, I have 4 cakes that need decorating in chocolate cigaroles (sorry for the sp)/curls ,

Here is my question, if I decoroate two of the cakes tonight, do I have to put them in the fridge to keep cool or can i leave them out?

Thank you

Rachel

Cake one is vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream I will then put the curls around the cake and on top.

Cake two and three are brownies that I will put a thin layer of bc on a then put the curls on.

Cake 4 is lemon cake with lemon bc and the same as the rest.

My concern is that if I start them tonight, will they melt? if I dont put them into the fridge. It's due Friday afternoon.

thanx

As long as your house is room temp, they shouldn't melt. Unless your room temp is the 80s or something b/c that's what my mom is like. icon_lol.gif It'll be like leaving chocolate bars sitting on your counter.
