can I fill a cake with a filling containing whipped cream? I have to fondant this sucker and decorate the heck out of it!
I don't see why not.
well, I know I can do it, I just don't know how long it can be out of the fridge for once I get the fondant on... I'm making my filling with an instant pudding mix, flavored creamer, and whipping cream... I'm guessing it's not very stable in heat.
As long as the whipped cream stays cold, it will be save. Long periods out of the fridge puts it at risk. If not for spoiling, certainly for melting.
