I am responsible for coming up with a menu for a Disney themed dinner theatre menu. Complete with catcy Disney names for the food items. I am at a total loss for this. Does anyone have any ideas for some good food or desserts with a catchy Disney theme?TIA

I used to know a guy whose family would do disney dinner and a movie night every weekend, and they would match the dinner to the movie. my one suggestion is do NOT have venison on the menu to represent Bambi....I found that to be incredibly out of taste for an anti-hunting movie LOL

Here's a few ideas for you...

Appetizers:
Rabbit's garden salad
Aladdin's complimentary bread loaf (since he gave it away, it's free, get it...) icon_biggrin.gif

Sides:
Pocahontas' roasted corn (you could use the more colorful indian corn if you wanted)

Entrees:
Chef Joe's spaghetti and meatballs (from Lady and the Tramp)
Dumbo's peanut chicken (chicken in a peanut sauce. You could also do a peanut butter sandwich for kids)
Winnie the Pooh's honey chicken (another Asian dish, incase you don't like peanuts)

Desserts:
Cinderella's pumpkin carriage pie
Snow White's gooseberry pie (stay away from apple pie, for obvious reasons...)

Kids' desserts:
Lil' Britches banana pudding (kids dessert...from Jungle Book icon_smile.gif )
Tinkerbell's sugar pixie wand (star shaped sugar cookie on a stick)
Timon and Pumba's Grub (gummy worms in chocolate pudding and oreo dirt)
