I have of course made a TON of rice krispies treats over the years..you know, where you press it into the pan and wait for it to cool and cut into squares..

I am going to do a cake that has a rice krispies base on it and wanted to know if I use the same ol recipe and just grease up the hands to form? Or do I do anything special?

Thanks as always!

I don't do anything special. Same old recipe and form with my hands although I put gloves on and grease those. Just works easier for me.

If its for some kind of a 3-D sculpted thing your doing, I'd suggest putting the rice krispies into a blender first, grind'em up so they're less lumpy for forming.

What'cha makin'?
