I am so excited & just wanted share and give you a tip. I stopped in our local Goodwill (thrift) store to browse for "cake stuff" and found some very gently used wilton cake pans. 8", 12", 16" rounds & 11x15 all for ----get ready-----$12! I figured a savings of about $40 or so. All my cupcake pans have been purchased there very cheap also. So, take a look in your local thrift stores-----you never know what you'll find!

You are so right about that. I have one place near my house that I stop in frequently looking for these kinds of deals. One of the last times, I picked up a couple of heart shaped layer cake pans, two christmas cookie mold pans, a halloween pan and a huge half round pan (used for making 1/2 of a large wedding cake layer). I had a coupon for $5 off a $10 purchase, so I think I only spent about $8. These places are definitely worth it if you are willing to be patient and look.
