I have a request for whipped icing. I've never made it, and found a recipe here "Whipped Icing III", it was the only one that came up. (if i did it right, lol)
I normally only use buttercream, or creamcheese.... will this hold up the same? Can I pipe or do a border with it? Can I make it the night before? Is it very difficult to make?
Hope someone knows!!! Everyone is so helpful here... Thanks!!

I don't know about that recipe. But, usually when I get a request for "whipped icing", they are talking abut the kind you can order from a walmart type bakery. And that is Bettercream. Depending on where you live, you can get it a GFS (Gordon Food Service) It's called Rich's Bettercream. It comes in a quart like heavy whipping cream. You just whip it up. It tastes really good and doesn't need refrigeration. And you can pipe with it.
