No Meringue Powder! Helpppppp

HELP! What else can I use to make buttercream?? We just had a HUGE storm and Walmarts power is out so I can't even buy some!!

there are a number of buttercream recipes that do not require meringue powder.

a substitute would be powdered egg whites and a little cream of tartar.

If you have regular eggs (whites), butter, and granulated sugar you can make IMBC or SMBC...it's all I use.
