I completed my niece's Birthday cake today. It's my 2nd FBCT. The first was a pre-school logo I did on a cake for my kids teachers.
This one is pretty self explanatory. The little confetti pieces are fondant.
I wish I'd have used white for the base color rather than pink (at least on the top) because it doesn't "POP" like I would have liked it to. But my 3 year old says it's "cool". So I guess his cousin will be happy enough.
oh wow! no way can I say that is does not pop! I love it.

Ok, I forget what is FBCT? I think I did a goofy a long time ago but I wasn't sure what it was called. Yours is so perfect, really it does POP! Fun!
FBCT- frozen buttercream transfer.
awesome cake! the pink is perfect, IMO it's actually what makes it pop.

Thanks guys. I always second guess myself when I add a cake and it FLIES right past the home page with 3 views.
For me, a critique/review from a fellow decorator holds so much more weight than a "that's so cool" from a family member.
If any of you have done any cool flag cakes, let me know. My husband just loves the American Flag and he mentioned today that I can make him a flag cake anytime. His Birthday is in August so I'm collecting ideas.

I just did a flag cake this week. If you do a search for "flag" lots of great cakes pop up.
