Am I crazy to make a birthday cake this high? It needs to serve close to 50 people.

I'm doing a double-layer 9x13 today for a birthday! icon_smile.gif It's no different than doing a 4" high round birthday cake - it's just a different shape! thumbs_up.gif

Several of my sheet cakes are double cake layers high (4"). I fill and tort them too...you're good to go!

the cake in my photos that says happy birthday noa is that size. it's really not so big.

All my 9X13 cakes are 4" high.
