Cake pro,

giving those decorated cookies another chance? Spoken like a true CAKE PRO..lol icon_biggrin.gif

As far as creative accounting!?? I have learned to save EVERY piece of paper and let my accountant fight it out with the Tax man. I can't be bothered..lol (believe me I save ...EVERYTHING!)

and I think a business doesn't have to show a profit for what..? 5 or 7 years before Uncle Sam tells me that my Sugar passion is just a costly hobby!

PS: wow, I can't believe that your client found your post! I'm also glad that you didn't bash the client, you also showed your utmost professionalism there also, and what kind words your customer had to say about you and your creation. It puts EVERYTHING you went trough into prespective!

I commend you. With your attitude you will indeed go far in your business. I wish that EVERY business I've ever had the "pleasure" to deal with, had your sense of customer service!

Oh My Goodness.. I am feeling so bad for you. But you came through like a champion and those Fairy cookies are absolutely gorgeous. Have you posted them in the cookie gallery I haven't noticed them in there.. You really should post the pic, they are fabulous.

Certainly a test to how much you love what you do! icon_biggrin.gif You did a fabulous job and to do it under those circumstances, wow!

By the way, I went to your website and see that you are a saltwater tank lover. My hubbie's side business is saltwater fish and corals (way up in Northern Michigan!). I had no clue how cool they were until he started the business. icon_cool.gif I find it to be very relaxing just watching them. Keeping sanity is important!!

HI, I can belive you charged so little money for all that work, even $55 for the cake alone is too little. Beautiful cakes by the way, you are an artist!! If you don't mind me asking... how did you get the legs and antennas on the fairies to stay put?? Did you add something to the royal icing?? Thank You and wish you the best!
