I've looked all over this site and Wilton's for how much batter to put in either a 9" X 13" or a 10" X 15" pan and I can't find it anywhere. So, I'm turning to my CC friends for the answer or the link to where I can find the answer.

Our preacher is leaving the church this weekend. We are having a covered dish dinner after the service on Sunday. I want to make a cake with the Methodist logo on it so I thought a sheet cake would be best.

Thanks in advance!

One box mix, which is approximately 4-1/2 to 5 cups of batter, will make a 9 x 13 cake. For a 10 x 15, fill the pan with water to give you how many cups it will hold. The batter amount you need for that will be 1/2 to 2/3 of the total amount depending if you like to overfill the pan or not. Hope this helps.

A 9x13 take 1 1/2 mixes or about 7 cups. A 10 x 15 take 2 mixes or about 9 cups of batter.

I like my pans 3/4 full.
