Growing up i remember my mom making chocolate cake with chocolate pudding on top with crumbled oreo cookies to make it look like dirt. Then she would put gummi worms on top and called it "mud cake." I was wondering how good a chocolate cake filled with a mixture of chocolate pudding and crushed oreos and gummi worms would be?

Sounds yummy to me. I have a dirt/bug cake in my pics, but it didn't have pudding on it. it couldn't have sat around as long as it did with pudding.

We sometimes make dirt desserts, a cup of pudding with oreos on top for dirt and a worm sticking out. yummy, especially in layers with whipcream or cream cheese filling.
