I'm doing a last minute 3 tiered b-day cake for somebody and I'd appreciate any decorating suggestions......I've only seen layred cakes. And the colors are purple, silver and black. And she likes stars. I'm making 3 12'round cakes and gonna make stars out of foundant. If u have any ideas I would appreciate them. thank you. icon_redface.gif

You could do fondant stripes on one tier, fondant diamonds on one and fondant dots on the other tier in the colors you mentioned.

Here's a 4 tier I did this weekend. Maybe that will help.
