Hi Guys-I am really nervous about a stacked book cake order I have for this weekend that I need to do in all BC...The part I am nervous about is getting the edges and pages right..Everyone does these in fondant and I guess I just wondered if anyone else has done these in BC and has any advice???? icon_redface.gif

I do. Be sure you use a crusting buttercream. Do you have an airbrush? I usually ice it all white. Round the spine an little by patting it. Use a dowel or something to indent the edge of the spine. Use something like a ruler or long knife to indent the pages (just give an impression of pages, it doesn't have to be perfect). Protect the page edges and spray the cover. Mix icing with the airbrush color to match and pipe the edges on.
