Just read some of the reviews on Epicurious for the stout cake. You don't often see that amount of rave reviews. I have printed the recipe out and I am baking it tomorrow for the diaper bag cake.

In the good old days (actually not that long ago) pregnant ladies in Ireland were advised to drink stout. My MIL told me she did when pregnant with my husband. It is full of iron so very nutritious.
