Is the fondant cut in strips or is it really draped?

How hard is it?

I don't know which cake you are looking at, but it is probably draped rather than cut.

Your best bet for the answer would be to send a PM to the person who posted the cake.

I wish I had the answer for you, I know which cakes you're talking about and they are beautiful! If you get ahold of the person, maybe they would be willing to share the technique with us!
