Can anybody tell me if the dough rollers can be used as fondant sheeters too. I have an opportunity to buy an acme countertop dough roller at a very good price. I was wondering if they work for rolling out fondant also. Anybody have one?

Yes, they work great for fondant. Sooo . . .how much? I'd love to have one, but they're too expensive for my budget!

I can get for $500. It sure would be worth it if it works.

Used, I guess? Even used, that's a terriffic price. They retail new at over $2K.

Leahs it would be used but it's in good shape. The guy I am getting it from just couldn't tell me if it could be used on fondant. Especially since he didn't know what fondant was (LOL)

Well I got my dough sheeter today. It is a summerset 500, 20" model.
It's used but in good shape. I got it for $450. I can't wait to use it for my fondant. I hope it will save me alot of time on my cakes. I looked the model up on the net and it said that it was great for fondant. I'll keep you posted as to how it works icon_biggrin.gif
