How to Make Edible Hyacinth Flowers

by: trishawv

You will need:

White fondant
Scissors
White tip stamens
Glue

Step 1: Roll small ball
Step 2: Make into cone shape and pierce wide end with toothpick
Step 3: With scissors, cut a ½ in. slit on either side of hole made with toothpick
Step 4: Cut 2 more slits on either side to have 6 petal starts
Step 5: Insert stamen with a dab of glue

Flatten each petal by pinching with thumb and finger

Cut each petal on either side to form a point

Pinch each petal to make a pointed tip where you just cut
Curl leaves upward slightly and let dry
Can be used white or sprayed or painted with color dust
