Fondant On Top Of Pastry Pride? Or Frostin' Pride?

i want to make a cake with the whipped type frosting, but i need to put soem fondant details-more like panels-on top of the frosting...can i use pastry pride under fondant? i thought i read that it breaks down the fondant-but not too clear still...help....thanks

The Pride doesn't crust, but the surface does firm up and dry a little. Add the fondant at the last possible moment. Once it is place, it can soften it, but it should still be fine.
