Hi, I am new to this forum and new to the baking business. I will be making a large sheet cake and wondered about how to bake it evenly. I saw that some used flower nails but I am not sure how to do that. Could someone explain how to do that for me? Thank you.

Put the rose nail upside down (nail point pointing up) in the middle of your pan, pour in the batter and bake as usual. When your cake is cool you can pull the nail straight out from the flat side. When I bake an 11 x 15 I use two nails. HTH icon_smile.gif
