I am doing some tasting samples for a bride (early fall wedding) and she wants each layer or her cake to be different. That being said, she has yet to decide on a design to make matters worse! Anyway, I have made up an Italian Cream...Yummo..but am just a bit hesitant to go with the default cream cheese based frosting as she is not a fan of it or almond.
There is a high probability that it will be a fondant covered cake but I am also making 100 cupcakes to go with as well.
So my question is does anyone have any other tried and true combinations that I might try with Italian Cream that they might share with this novice? I know that some don't like to share their recipes, which I SO understand and I'm not asking for that (unless of course you just really really wanted to ), just a combo that I can try would be great.
