I'm pretty new to this, can anybody tell me how to make those fake cakes to show as examples.... Is there something in this site that tells you how?

you just order a styrofoam cake dummy and decorate it like you would a normal cake

www.dallasfoam.com has really cheap ones!

Most people use styro dummies....depending on where you get them, they can be either cheap or expensive. They are light but bulky so sometimes it's the shipping that will nail you.

Thanks! So you just buy the dummy and put regular fondant over it?
