This is a pic of my second Wedding cake...... I worked on it so long and so hard.......when I finished it I actually CRIED 
because it came out exactally the way I wanted it to and I was so a wreck, worried it wouldn't turn out!............ My family thinks I have gone over the edge.....They thing I need some kind of intervention.......LOL

I would have cried too because it is simply gorgeous and you knew exactly how you wanted it to come out and it did!
I cried after I made my s-i-l's wedding cake because of that same reason! It was only my 3rd cake.
Don't worry about what you family thinks of you for crying - my family thinks I'm nuts anyway! lol
Oh, it is beautiful! What a feeling to create something that gives you that much satisfaction!

Diane .....the pink/white flowers are made out of royal icing....the grapes and the tiny white flowers were made out of gum paste.

Meloda I made all the grapes on their own wire and when they were dry I bound them together one at a time with floral tape into grape bunches....each flower was on its own wire....... I feel it's easier to place everything where you want it if everything is seperate....you have more freedom that way, because you never know how everything will fit until you build the cake.
