What Is The Difference Between Rolled Fondant And Satin Ice?

I would like to know the difference between rolled fondant and satin ice fondant?? I understand there are probably several posts on this already but I have yet to figure out how to find them. I would like to know the links or if you would like to write thats great to. Which one taste better, is cheaper, and which one would you use. I am doing my sisters wedding cake and I am wanting to do something special and great, and the only fondant I haved used is Wilton Fondant. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!!!

Satin Ice is a brand of rolled fondant. I personally love to work with it. icon_smile.gif

I agree...I love Satin Ice rolled fondant as well. It tastes really good too!

Yep, SatinIce is just one brand of commercially made fondant.
Have you tried making marshmellow fondant? It's reasy and tastes greaticon_smile.gif
