Flea Markets (Aka Swap Meets)?

It's likely that you can find customers anywhere. But think what kind of customers do you really want?

Rather than swap meets, I would look for community festivals or arts & crafts fairs. Those have been very successful for my album making business, and I would think they would be better exposure for a cake business, too. Most are relatively inexpensive, and they attract a different clientelle than swap meets. 
In my observations people go to flea markets to get a real bargain. Do you want to sell your cakes for a real bargain? Probably not. 
i would try to get in craft and holiday fairs as a previous posters. You can also go the donating route with churches and schools.
