you make MMF?

I thought I read somewhere you could store it in a ziploc bag for up to a week. Is that right?

Thanks in advance

Boy, I really don't know. I have used it after a week. You may need to work in a little shortening after you microwave it. But I think it will be okay. There is nothing in it that need to be refrigerated after all.

Geez, I really hope I didn't poison anyone... icon_redface.gif

I was going to make the MMF tomorrow and then put it on the cakes, thursday night and friday night. I think I will go ahead and plan for tomorrow night unless someone posts that I shouldnt icon_smile.gif

I've made MMF and have saved it coated in a thin layer of shortening and wrapped in saran and then placed in a zip lock bag with as much air as possible removed and have used it as long as three months later (for my family - I always make fresh if it's for someone else). It's always tasted fine to me and my family - no complaints; no illness; no deaths reported.
