hi everyone...i need some good recipes for icing bday cakes,etc. My BC icing is too heavy. The other day had some cake w/ icing that was so light that just meltd in the mouth! any good recipes out there...plz let me know! thanks

Try a meringue buttercream. It is very light. I like shirley's and janh put one in the recipes. I use Shirley's, but I think jan's looks good also.

I made it with these add ins :
1/2 tsp lemon extract
1/2 tsp almond extract

It was absolutely devine - everyone loved it!
