I WAS ASKED TO DO A BIRTHDAY CAKE IN THE SHAPE OF A CAR. BELOW IS THE PICTURE. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE SHED SOME LIGHT INTO MY DILEMMA?

ANY STRUCTURE DESIGNS OR TIPS?

WHAT KIND OF CAKE SHOULD I USE? AND SHOULD I CARVE IT WHEN ITS FROZEN?

I make a T-shaped board for the car to sit on...so the wheels will fit in. Then, I have another smaller rectangular shaped board under that to elevate the car...this one is mostly hidden.

Then just carve the car out of sheet cakes. Looking at pics helps me a lot. Try to make as many of the little car pieces ahead of time....like headlights, mirrors, bumpers, tires...etc.
