Fondant Sombrero

Any tips or advise on how to do a Sombrero...as far as the shape. I'll be making it from fondant, but need a little help on what was used to get the shape.

Wilton has some directions for a sombrero.

I didn't have the right pan and instead put the fondant over the top of a juicer wrapped in a bit of cling wrap to make the ridges less prominent. The fondant was thick, too, to prevent the ridges from showing through. I also found that using my icing tip to make the pattern ruined the tip. Then I tried a fork and it worked quite well. The Wilton sombrero is filled with cake, mine was hollow (see my photos). Mine's a little different than theirs, but I was extremely pleased with the results!
