Oh, I took it that Alan was purchasing it to try it personally and then was going to stock it to sell in the store directly from the manufactuerer.

Glad to hear it's all okay. Another catastrophe diverted! icon_biggrin.gif

Sharon, you are so sweet to share these recipes and tips with us. I'll now take my 6qt bowl out of the fridge...it takes a lot of room! icon_biggrin.gif I can not wait to try the chocolate recipe. WOW!

OK, hopefully last question from me...so you stiffen the icing to make flowers and such. Since we've all worked so hard to get this icing just right, how exactly do you stiffen it? Do you make a big batch and then divide some off and just add PS to it? Will it make it lumpy? You're the best! I'm going to post a picture of my cake when I'm all done this week. I hope it turns out as beautiful as yours.
Thanks!

happy to help Aubrey!

I do not stiffen it. I make it stiffish for icing the cake, so I use it as is.

How much icing will this make?

I need enough frosting to frost 20, single layer cakes. Just frosting, no deocration. We are having a cake decorating contest for our JV Awana group. I have the tubes of decorator icing for the decorating.

Will one 6 qt batch be enough?

Thanks!

I just tried the 6qt icing recipie....SOOOOOO Good!! icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif
My DH said NEVER go back to the other recipie (just Wilton's BC)

It definitely filled my bowl (and then some) I couldn't seem to get the last cup in without PS flying EVERYWHERE!

I just couldn't get over how smooth and silky it is and no greasy taste!
I love it.

Thanks Sharon

PS also finished watching the stacking video. Some great tips!
