You guys are a real inspiration! I've marked a lot of these to try sometime. Here are my favorite cupcakes. I designed them, with input from a few CC'ers for a Wizard of Oz party.

Kathik - the Wizard of Oz is my FAVORITE movie of all time. I HAVE to try those cupcakes! You did such a great job with those. SO creative!

Thank you Edna! The hibiscus flowers are marshmallow fondant. I brushed the centers with luster dust.

i love love love love LOVE your sailboat jeanne and grammasue the hibiscus ones are so colorful and vibrant.

Here is mine.. It is a "Monster Cupcake".. Got the idea and help from a gallery member at CakeCentral. She did the original design.

Thanks Melysa.. it was really easy to do. I used a round cookie cutter for the background then cut out another round the same size in the water color and cut it in 1/2 and used the fat end of a decorating tip to cut out the waves. Lay the boat on first and slap the water over it et viola... sailboat.
