Hello, I am looking for a caramel glaze or frosting recipe for apple filled cookies that I am making. I would prefer a soft frosting or glaze when you bite into it but strong enough to stack if possible. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Here's one that I found. I have not tried it.

It looks like it might do the trick. There is a picture of the glaze as well so that you can determine the depth of it's consistency. HTH

Gosh darn it. How about these two. Also I don't know it melting the carmel candy is the type you are looking for, but one link is a carmel frosting that uses powdered sugar and maybe that will work the other is a butter cream.

I don't know if these will cut it but at least it's some more options. Good Luck

Thanks for the posts N2Cookies and micnmax2003. I think I will have fun sampling icing recipes. It will be a rough job but I think I will suffer through it. icon_lol.gif
