I don't know how to construct even a basic boot... it's for a 50th birthday party at the end of April. The lady wants it to serve about 50. Soo with those details out of the way how would you construct it? I know I want to cover it in fondant and I am at a loss at how to cover it.
Should I do the bottom of the boot in cake then top in RKT?
Construction help needed please LOL

for sturdy even weight and added servings, make the bottom with an oval pan, stacked, and the top 2-3 layers with a round stacked to the back. you've got a general shape and you can carve some or just lay your fondant to shape a little more detail. Pound cake is great for heavy stacks, just use a lot of skewers for support between layers!
