Ok, I have a Hello Kitty sheet cake to do for this weekend and I bought this to use on it, since I don't re-create characters... I am just at a loss as to what else to put on it though. It'll say Happy birthday on it and I was thinking of putting on some 'Duff Style' fondant roses.. Any other ideas?

depending on the size of that HK thing and the size of the cake you need, maybe do a 2 layer cake, lay the HK thing on top of the top layer, decorate one layer pink with white pokadots and the 2nd layer in stripes to match the purse, then maybe do white, pink, orange dota around the bottom instead of a shell or rope border, or maybe do a stached square/rectangle cake but turn the top layer at an angle

It looks like HK just hit a sale so why don't you make some fondant bags and boxes in different sizes and shapes and place them around your cake?
