Hello- Tonight I colored some Toba Garrett's fondant for a NY Yankee hat that I'm doing. After all the coloring (navy blue and black) my fondant started to look crumbly. I'm letting it rest overnight.

What can I add to it to make it workable tomorrow? Glycerin? corn syrup? powered sugar?

Please help

TIA...Delia

If its crumbly it sounds like it Try kneading in a little bit of shortening at a time until it is smooth and not crumbly. I usually have the opposite problem whrn mixing in a lot of color. It gets sticky and I have to keep dusting it with cornstarch.

Try Michele Foster's recipe (search for it on forum). It rocks! Never had any problems!
