ok I have something to say about the Rachael Ray thing...tell your hubby that....and he might be surprised......she is not a real cook.yeah, that's right...she was a magazine editor. She probably learns from all these other people JUST like we do from Indydebi...
I think he may have known that OR he is going to be really upset if you tell him!

Just one more reason I get along so well with debi! I cannot stand RR!! Wayyyyyy over exposed and Waaaaaaaaaay too loud for me. I've actually gone down the oil aisle at Dillions and seen her face on the olive oil and turned the bottle around. *I'm SOOOO ornery!!*
Don't even get me started on the cracker aisle.. I feel like there is an RR army ready start throwing sammies and EVOO at me. ARG!
Gotta chime in along with everyone else about Debi! I read before someone calls Debi's quotes "Indy-isms" or "Debi-isms" and I can tell you that I have an entire folder on my computer with extremely helpful comments I've saved from Debi. As someone else said...when I grow up, I want to be just like Debi! Seriously! This is a person in the world who has a huge halo over her head in my book! Thank YOU Debi!
Like so many others, I too read everything I can from her because I've gained so much knowledge. Though we've never met, I often refer to " my cake mentor friend" in my real life and people think she's someone I actually know. This is the impact you have on me, Debi! Thank you!!

Debi - you are the best! I agree with yourstruly - if I see indydebi posting - I'm reading it as fast as I can! Thanks so much Debi for all of the sharing of information you do -- your advise is so common sensed and easily 'repeatable' - (poor timing on your part . . .)
And yes I would love to see a book from Debi - but now I'm going to be really, really selfish and suggest a book be written and each one of the best posters from CC write a chapter in the book - they get to choose the topic! Not only Debi - but Doug, Sharon, Melvira, Leah, etc . . . .
Oh - and on little Miss R Ray -- uh - which one of us here on CC couldn't turn out a 30 minute meal for 4 people -- IF we had all the ingredients right on the edge of each shelf, all utensils and pans at hand, no kids OR DH in the kitchen, no phone to ring, no door to answer AND -- didn't have to worry about washing the dirty dishes as we were cooking!!!!!

I am placing my vote for Debi for PRESIDENT. We've never met, but she is ALWAYS helpful and selfless -- I know she has better things to do than answer my questions, but she never makes me feel that way. Debi, is the house next door to you for sale??? Just kidding -- you would grow to HATE me.
