It looks great but on your name up top and the subtitle I would make the name a little larger and the subtitle a little darker, it is a little hard to read, at least on my computer. Otherwise looks really great. Good work! (and your cakes are really pretty)

Wow there are so many.

Raspberry
whipped ganache
strawberry
lemon
pineapple
coconut
whipped cream

You should search out a few sites and see what they have to offer especially in your area.. whatever they have listed is probably the most popular to that area.

I hear a lot of people on here talk about whipped ganache and that seems popular but in my area I have never seen it offered.

Hope it helps.

Yeah, I can see that much better. It pops out more.

I tried to look up some of the sites for you but most I found only had a couple choices. I had one saved that had a long list. If i find it I will post it for you.

Just quick, will look more tomorrow.

Colors for the front page. LOVE the purple on the bottom, keep that and match the rest to it. The pink on top can be a little less saturated, and the Tamis at the top would look good in the same purple as below to tie them together.

The text at the top could be moved to just at the very top of the purple, it would provide better contrast there and give more room to really fill the top with the name.

Font. Like the font on the buttons, extend the background of the button to cover the Y. For the body text, something with more character would personalize things. I like AL Meaningful (italicized), but there may be something that fits you better.

Image. The image on the pink is great, the swirls bring out bc borders, fun but elegant. Are you doing wedding cakes? A showstopper that you made would be wonderful to really draw them in. If not, the cake (great, btw!) image should be cropped a bit better. See how it's off-center? You could zoom in some, and add a simple border to separate the dark background from the dark purple, and it would set it off. OR paint the background with the same purple to make it part of the page, OR cut the cake out and place on a transparent background (gif image), enlarge, and place on page. Lots of options!

This is a great start, better than a lot, but could use some finishing touches. It usually takes me about 10 drafts and 2-3 critiques before I finish a design. HTH!

Looking good...a few suggestions.

text on the first page
- fix spelling of 'satisfy'
- if your name is Tami and it is your biz, perhaps spell it as "Tami's" rather than Tamis
- add "most' as in "the most outrageous sugar"etc...makes the sentence flow more smoothly
- add a comma after the word fantasy

Hope this is helpful. Great work so far.

My 2 cents worth .... You should try to display your cookies nicely on a pretty platter, individually wrapped so people can see what type of packaging you can do or a pretty box for cookie bouquets. The photo of the cookies on the cooling rack does not do justice to the cookies.

Also you could put a description of the cookies next to the picture . type of cookie, icing, size, etc.

Good luck with your website.

I'd love to see descriptions next to the pictures. The cookies are pretty self explanatory, but I think it'd help a potential client know what types of cakes you've worked with in the past. Also, I don't see a page an "information page" of any sort. I.e. What are my options of cakes, frosting and filling if I order?

Maybe special occasion cakes can be specialty cakes? I'd think that if I'm ordering a bday cake, to me it's a special occasion, even if as a baker you get a ton of bday cake requests.

Your banner up on top is light and the bottom of the page is dark so the eyes get drawn to the bottom and the company name and type of gallery kind of gets lost. Personally easier to view if pics are set against a light background. makes the pics pop out more.

I like the website and the fact that it doesn't take a very long time for the pages to load! icon_smile.gif
