Help! Any Advice On Bitter Pink Asap!

My icing is sooo bitter!! Any advice on how to achieve a hot pink without it being bitter??

What brand of coloring did you use?
I'm not trying to be smart but are you *sure* you made the icing properly??
I've never had that problem except w/black &/or *reds*.
